The Author

Thomas James is a United States Air Force Veteran. After his service with his rescue squadron during Operation Enduring Freedom, James went to college and graduated from Austin Peay State University with a bachelors in Political Science. His education of hair originated at the GREAT International Barber and Style College in Nashville, Tennessee where he received his Master Barber Instructor's license AND first job as an instructor! To further his education, he entered Georgia Career Institute and received his Cosmetology license. As a State Board Preparations Instructor, he helped raise the licensure rate to the highest in Tennessee. In 2016, "Mr. Stateboard", as he is known on the road, was busy presenting his "blueprint" to obtain your Cosmetology or Barber's license. A few of the stops include Premiere Orlando AND Birmingham working with Bronner Brothers in Atlanta as well as with the Original Barber Brand Major League Barbers in North Carolina AND Kentucky! He also had the pleasure to present at the American Association of Cosmetology Schools convention in Orlando, FL! HIs methods of problem solving are second to none. He is living his dream of teaching "The Blueprint" of licensure, job placement or required continuing education hours.
